Rushanka Amrutkar

Rushanka Amrutkar, Senior Advisor for Earth Observation and Remote Sensing in Agriculture at England's Environment Agency, has dedicated over a decade to leveraging space technology for environmental sustainability and governance.


An alumna of the Global Policy, Diplomacy, and Sustainability fellowship, she advises the Kalpana Chawla Project at the International Space University. Serving as the UK country chair for G100: Mission Million, she actively advances UN Sustainable Development Goals.


With 16+ international research publications, Rushanka has garnered accolades including Britain's Asian Women of Achievement Science Award and is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. Recognised as a Rocket Woman, she advocates fervently for STEM education, women in space, and FEMTech.
