Réseau Consulting
Our founder and CEO, Steven Ramage, leverages over three decades of expertise in location data, business strategy, institutional governance and policy development. His career includes leadership roles with industry organisations, such as HERE, 1Spatial, Ordnance Survey, the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and the Group on Earth Observations (GEO).
Recently, Steven concluded a multi-year term as the Executive Officer for the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS), where he led international coordination for civil space-based Earth observations with almost 40 space agencies and 30 partners, e.g. from the UN system. He also served as a long-standing advisor and thought leader for the World Economic Forum (WEF) on climate, data, Earth observations and policy from 2019 to 2026.
Other private sector clients include Catalyst, Evenflow, Howden, OroraTech, Picterra, SatSure, Space Intelligence, Sparkgeo and Vizzuality.

Founding Roles: Instrumental in the creation and governance of Digital Earth Africa and early roles in Digital Earth Pacific and Digital Earth Americas.

International Advisory Services: Former adviser to GIZ, the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT), NASA, the UN and the World Bank.
In November 2024 Steven received an Honorary Doctor of Science from Glasgow Caledonian University for 30 years in digital geography and for supporting underrepresented communities. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (RGS), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has held academic positions as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Geneva, a Visiting Professor at the University of Strathclyde, and a SASNet Fellow at the University of Glasgow, UK. Most recently he has been advising start ups as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Glasgow Caledonian University, UK.

Our management consulting services typically involve working with CEOs and senior leaders on a monthly retainer basis to deliver on missions involving public good and digital public infrastructure.
