Mary Namukose
Mary Namukose is an Aquatic ecologist by training, and she has been working in international development corporation for over a decade.
Currently, she serves as the Regional Advisor for Transboundary Water Resources Management in the GIZ Blue Africa Action Programme.
Mary’s connection and interest in the geospatial sector stems from her role as Strategy and Partnership Lead at Women in GIS (WiGIS) Uganda, a professional network she co-founded to provide a safe space for women using geospatial technologies in Uganda to engage, learn, share, and navigate professional challenges.
