Linda García
Linda García Polanco is a Topographic Engineer with over 15 years of experience in land titling, land governance, and GIS. She holds a specialisation in Geographic Information Systems and an MSc in Geospatial Technologies.
Her expertise focuses on enhancing the visibility of vulnerable groups through geospatial information. By combining geospatial skills with territorial analysis, she has led projects that contributed to the titling of more than 900,000 hectares in Colombia. She also worked on the mapping of toponyms alongside Indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities, contributing to the development of official ethnic maps in Colombia.
Currently, she works as a data scientist and analyst, supporting land titling processes for farmers in Colombia.
