Diana Mosquera

Diana Mosquera is a physicist and cognitive scientist with over 10 years of experience in artificial intelligence. She is the director of Diversa, where she leads projects that combine AI, data analysis, and critical feminist perspectives, applied to fields such as migration, urban dynamics, natural resources, human rights, and more.

Her practice integrates geospatial data science, cartography, and spatial analysis to map the hidden geographies of AI. She uses GIS and cartographic methodologies to analyse inequality, infrastructure, and urban dynamics, bringing a spatial perspective to issues of power, governance, and technology.

Her work also addresses technological governance, global AI supply chains, and the power dynamics of technological development. She has completed specialised training in AI ethics and governance, as well as in cooperative and socio-technical AI, through programs at MILA and The New School.

Currently, Diana is a researcher at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), where she contributes to the comparative analysis of global public policies on AI.
